Q. What is the exact physical path to my root directory?

A. For Cpanel Hosting accounts
Path to your root directory

/home/your_username/

Path to your Home directory

/home/your_username/www/

Note: Please change your_username with your given user name.
For Plesk Hosting accounts
The path to your root directory is:
/usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/yourdomain.com/

Obviously, substitute "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain name.
